From the artist: “I am interested in capturing the sincerity, warmth, and playfulness of illustration. I prefer to make work directly with time-honored materials such as gouache, watercolor, ink, and colored pencil to achieve visually inviting and approachable illustrations. The stories that engage me the most are always those off the beaten path (fiction or, not); with unique and surprising characters.”
